As far as dating apps go, this is a pretty good one. The quality of the women on the app has been better than others and most are responsive. I like that you must be active to remain a member and if you have a question or problem the support staff will respond promptly.

I went on a date with a guy and when I asked him a personal question he said, "wow you wanna get to know me" and I said, "well, thats the point, right?" My main point is that you will see the exact same people here that you see on other apps except your match rate will be lower. Idk about other cities but the men in San Francisco are suffering from severe Peter Pan syndrome in that they wanna have fun and keep things casual and detached. This app will not fix that. Nor will any app. This app however does have pros and cons. A pro is that you can setup your preferences and they also link your LinkedIn profile, which makes things more legit. They have since started charging a member fee and the prospects I started receiving did not match my preferences and I was getting no new matches. Keep in mind, I had a match rate above the 50th percentile. The app describes match rate as how many people that have seen your profile have "heart it." So no new matches means my profile was not being shown. Im 52" 115 lbs hour glass frame green eyes with a UC Berkeley engineering degree. Sorry The League... Youve gone downhill. Your pros can easily be mimicked by more established apps.

After waiting 3 years to get off the waiting list, I had high hopes for this app. Unfortunately that was not the case. Very few matches provided (per my concierge, me being 42, Im too old for the people who use this app).

At first I really liked the app, but then I recently took a break because I was in a relationship. When I downloaded it again after the breakup, it said I was flaky and put me back on the waiting list where I dont even know the position. I think this is a great way to kill a loyal user who was a big fan before.

No one ever messages - they match me with people opposite of my preferences

Wow - Im 29,859 out of 29,859 users in NYC waiting to join (and havent budged after a week)? Either Im constantly getting bumped back or your app isnt very active. Most ivy leaguers that I know are subtle about the school they went to. We also already have a network of people to tap. You really think were going to wait for years to use an app?

Ive been "#1" on the wait list for over 2 weeks. Ive sent feedback...nothing. Ive tried messaging....nothing. I think its just a ploy to Get you to pay for something. Swipe left on this crap app

Obnoxious elitist nickel-and-dime-ing douchebaggery. Dont waste your time.

You get on the Waitlist a amongst thousands of other people and then they seemingly make little attempt to weed it out. So, several months later, Im still 6,000 out of 8,000 but my interest in this app is nonexistent anymore and I forget its even still on my phone. Im sure if I got approved then Ill meet the few people who have been selected and weed through them immediately. What happens when they run out and slowly add more? My interest is again gone. Itd be ridiculous to pay for expedited review to be either turned down or thrown into the small pool of "elite" people. Or you can pay for more worthless extras. Trying to create a classier more selective Tinder is a great idea, but this isnt a good execution of that. Dont even waste your time.

I was an early beta tester and at one point I requested "time out" which is an app feature. However they flagged me as "flaky" because they messed up processing my request. After contacting them, they failed to fix the problem which was caused by their own bugs. Would you trust such a company with your money?

The idea was nice but I cannot use the app because I dont have a linkedin account... Stupid app.

Why is it in the German store then?

I dont have a LinkedIn profile. So do I have to create one just to join?

Wtf is the waitlist

This is way better than tinder. Ive met some quality people and either enjoyed the conversation or the date.

99% of prospects this app shows you are the guys you see on other apps, except the league somehow empowers them to act more more arrogant and entitled. God..Can someone built a quality app with decent people?!

Few messages and just as many flakes as anything else. Not worth all the hype and the silly wait list.

I was an early admitted member during the original beta. I was also a League 2.0 beta tester. The premise of the app is great, but the execution is awful. There is SO much competition in the dating app world. 1st: its ridiculous to only give 5 people to choose from a day. More often than not I say no to all of them since theyre ugly AF. 2nd: they try to stay interactive in the community by sending these LONG messages that Im sure only 5% of people read. Plus they constantly threaten to kick you off the app for inactivity. 3rd: whats with the wait list still? Ive given VIP invites to friends talking about exclusivity and all. Our consensus is always that there are so few hot babes on here, and of those that are. Good luck matching when odds are youll never see them or they havent seen you yet. Its been two years. Your app needs more people. GROWTH GROWTH. Like seriously. FINAL: The nail in the coffin was after the latest update. It crashes on launch. Honestly, Im sure this app wont get any more rounds of funding. I can imagine their P&L looks atrocious. Hey, at least their not burning too much on server cost since theyll have that wait list open for the next decade. The staff needs to understand that many of the women (+30, successful, highly educated) have a difficult time dating. Why then, would you limit them to 5 swipes a day I ask you. DELETING THIS APP NOW. By the way, this is my first real in depth review, ever. Did not proofread.

I cant even get the app to open, after these recent updates. Repeatedly crashes. Im not able to get into the app to notify the concierge. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issue.

In the age of body positivity and acceptance, it is a wonder that anyone would be dumb enough to create such a counter-intuitive app and expect it to do well.
